VSAT / Leaseline

NSE uses TCP/IP protocol based Wide Area Network facilitating higher bandwidth of 2Mbps, expansion and scalability.

In order to provide equal access to all the Trading Members spread over a wide geographical area, the Exchange offers two forms of telecommunication connectivity viz.

  • VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal)– Satellite-based Connectivity
  • Leased Line-Terrestrial-based Connectivity

Trading Members are required to choose a scenario from the categories mentioned below in order to apply for connectivity.

Co-location facility at the Exchange

In view of Member representation and to keep pace with global trends, Exchange has issued Circular No.693, Download Reference No. NSE/MEMB/12985 dated August 31, 2009 informing all the Trading Members about the introduction of co-location services, to facilitate better use of DMA and ALGO trading.

Payment Structure

Co-location is a paid facility. The details of charges are as per Annexure-1.

Application Form

In order to avail the co-location facility, Members are required to submit an application to the Membership Department as per Annexure-2.

The Application form should be accompanied with requisite payment (inclusive of service tax) which has to be made by way of cheque/demand draft drawn in favour of National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. payable in Mumbai.
