NSE Academy has signed an MoU with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad to launch collaborative courses on finance and technology.

How the MoU will benefit students:

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Rajiv Shekhar, Director, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad said: “The MoU between the Department of Management Studies, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and NSE Academy will explore the collaboration opportunities in areas such as financial markets and financial technology by developing joint certification programmes for different industrial segments and target groups."

"The programmes will enhance management skills, build organizational capabilities and address the industry's demand, challenges, and requirements," he added.

Vikram Limaye, MD and CEO NSE said: “The mission of NSE is to create a new generation of investors and intermediaries in the marketplace. Our collaboration with a premium institution like the Department of Management Studies, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad shall build a solid foundation for professionals aspiring to upskill themselves for careers in financial services and related technology."

"Our endeavor is to also enhance the internal talent capabilities of organizations operating on the convergence of BFSI and technology," he added.

Programmes to be launched under partnership:

Under this partnership, several short-term and long-term programmes aimed at working professionals and custom designed programmes for organizations seeking to build leadership capabilities in the financial and technology sector will be announced shortly.

These programmes will be delivered through online and hybrid modes and will be co-certified by both institutions.

The programme committee constituted for the execution of the programme comprise Prof. Shalivahan (Dean, R&D, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad), Prof. Saumya Singh (HoD, DMS, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad) and Prof. Shashank Bansal (Program Coordinator, DMS, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad).
