Dr. R H Patil Memorial Dialogue 2020

NSE organises the ‘Dr. R H Patil Memorial Lecture’ in honour of its Founder and Managing Director, Late Dr. R H Patil. Dr. Patil played a pivotal role in transforming India’s capital markets, thereby paving the way for both domestic and global investors to be part of the India growth story. This Lecture is an annual event that brings insights from quality domestic or international speakers of repute. This year’s event will be in a discussion format rather than a lecture.

We are honoured that Prof. Eugene F Fama, the winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences has consented to be part of this year’s Dr. R H Patil Memorial Dialogue 2020. Prof Fama’s research is well known in both academic and investment communities. He is strongly identified with research on markets, particularly the efficient markets hypothesis. He is currently the Robert R. McCormick Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

We are delighted that Mr. Uday Kotak, the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank and one of the finest minds and most respected personalities in the Indian financial services landscape will interact with Prof. Fama during this session.
