Launch of Silver Jubilee Celebration of NSE

The NSE was recognised as a stock exchange in 1993 and since then has played a pivotal role in the growth of the Indian financial markets and the Indian economy. NSE is proud to be the largest exchange in India and the 3rd largest in the world in terms of trading volumes, a significant achievement for an exchange which is only 25 years old.

NSE’s achievements are the result of the support and efforts of a lot of people and institutions. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Government of India, regulators, our clients, employees and all our stakeholders for their support and encouragement.  The Indian economy is poised for many great things and NSE is committed to doing what is in the best interests of the Indian economy, markets, investors and the financial well-being of people.

We have reached an important milestone in our evolution as an institution as we enter our Silver Jubilee Year.  We believe the best is yet to come for our economy, markets and NSE.
