Headline: Launch of Kannada Edition of Workbook on Financial Education and Investment Awareness

A workbook in Kannada language on 'Financial Education and Investment Awareness' was launched in Bengaluru by Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot and NSE MD and CEO Ashish Kumar Chauhan.

NSE Academy has tied up with Karnataka State Council of Higher Education to bring skills related to financial management to the young generation of Karnataka. NSE Academy entered into MoUs with the Council in July, 2022 and MoUs with 20 State Universities in Karnataka, aimed at imparting financial education to college students. Accordingly, a 45-hour 'Financial Education and Investment Awareness' life skills course has been included in the curriculum of all second-year UG students of 20 universities. More than 4 lakh students are learning various concepts of finance through classroom sessions and online content on their own. Classroom sessions are conducted by more than 2500 faculty members trained by NSE Academy. Online material for self study is provided by NSE Academy LMS.

The subjects of this course have been prepared in English by NSE Academy after obtaining useful inputs from Karnataka Commerce Curriculum Committee and various industrial bodies. To break the language barrier and reach out to all classes of students, NSE Academy has prepared the course workbook in Kannada language.
